About Darling Downs - Partners In Recovery
Partners In Recovery (PIR) is a new program funded by the Department of Health and has commenced in communities in the Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN region.
The objective of this national program is to improve outcomes for people who experience severe and persistent mental illness. This initiative recognises that individuals and their families may have complex needs, and aims to provide better access to services and more coordinated support in the communities where they live. PIR promotes a recovery model as the foundation for effective individual support (both clinical and non-clinical).
