Herbert Community

The federal electorate of Herbert has an approximate area of 940 km².

It is comprised of 48 suburbs including Aitkenvale, Arcadia, Beach Holm, Belgian Gardens, Black River, Blue Hills, Bohle, Burdell, Bushland Beach, Castle Hill, Condon, Cosgrove, Cranbrook, Currajong, Deeragun, Douglas, Florence Bay, Garbutt, Gulliver, Heatley, Hermit Park, Horseshoe Bay, Hyde Park, Jensen and Kirwan plus parts of another 10 suburbs.

It is comprised of parts of the localities of Hervey Range, Lynam and Palm Island.

It is comprised of the council of Palm Island plus parts of Townsville.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Hinchinbrook, Mundingburra, Thuringowa and Townsville.

It is surrounded by the federal electorates of Dawson and Kennedy.
