It is comprised of the localities of Bimbi, Caragabal, Glenelg, Greenethorpe, Grenfell, Piney Range, Pinnacle, Pullabooka and Warraderry plus parts of Bribbaree, Bumbaldry, Quandialla and Wirrinya.
It is surrounded by the councils of Bland, Cowra, Forbes and Hilltops.
It is within the state electorate of Cootamundra.
It is within the federal electorate of Riverina.
